Why this must be read: This is a beautifully written love story that takes its sweet time to develop; however it does not drag on unnecessarily. The story starts out with Janeway and Chakotay in a relationship and then changes to Chakotay/Paris. I appreciate JJ’s clever use of canon to break J/C up.
