Why this must be read: In nearly all of her stories, Nataliya has the ability combine many of the elements that make me happiest in slash: great characterization, a distinctly male perspective (including sex), uncontrived emotions from characters, a relationship that grows and develops over a story, and great dialogue. The Arrangement is no different, with moving character development throughout the story and some great banter between Illya and Napoleon.

And, I would add, she takes here an almost cliche situation and reinvents it, making it seem fresh, logical, even, which is amazing to me.

How glad I am that I investigated this website. I loved this. It was sweet yet gritty, romantic and realistic. Your characterizations are superb, your dialogue by turns witty and touching. The sex was explicit without being standardized and I loved the ending. Thank you so much for sharing this.
