The Sentinel/CSI (Rated R)
Title: Fragile Magic by Deborah Wright
Pairing: Jim/Blair
Author on LJ:
dbw
Author Website: A Feast for the Senses
Why this must be read:
At first glance, The Sentinel and CSI wouldn't seem to have much in common. But look a little more closely, and a crossover between the two shows makes perfect sense. After all, in the very first episode of The Sentinel, Blair calls Jim a "human crime lab with organic surveillance equipment," and that makes for some interesting parallels between Jim's senses and the CSI team's technology.
The two shows collide when Blair goes missing after a visit with Naomi, and Jim goes looking for his partner where the trail leads him: Las Vegas.
If you like intriguing, novel-length case stories, you'll love Fragile Magic. Carve out a nice big chunk of time for this one - you might find it hard to stop reading once you start.

No, the only pairing is Jim and Blair.
There is the tiniest reference that Nick might have a bit of a crush on Grissom, but if that's not your pairing, don't worry, the reference is extremely brief and never goes farther than a quick thought in Nick's head. I'm picky about pairings, too (and judging from your icon, you're a Nick/Greg OTP-er like I am, but the reference in this story is so brief it shouldn't bother you).
