Why this must be read:

This fic is priceless for the characterization of Kira Nerys and Stark alone. Everything else is just gravy. It is full of angst and a lovely spirituality of both the DS-9 'verse and the Farscape 'verse and omg, Kira Nerys is just perfect in this, the way she keeps everything bottled up inside until an essentially chance encounter with an alien (Stark) opens the floodgates.

Before you click, a note from the author: Takes place between Life Support and Heart of Stone for DS9, and after Peacekeeper Wars for Farscape. Major spoilers up to those points for both.

Uhm, wow. Thank you. I'm humbled and awed to have something of mine recc'd on the comm I trust for all my fic reccing needs.

I'm especially awed that it's been recced by someone I don't even know that well.

Pairing: not so much

*giggles like mad* Gen fic is underated. Though I suppose you could interpret this as a pairing, it's really not intended that way. If anything the pairings in this are Kira/Bareil and Stark/Zhaan.

I felt similarly floored when one of my BSG fics was recc'd here a few months ago by someone I'd never even heard of. :)
