Why this must be read:
One of the difficulties in writing short fics is that you have to cram more information into fewer words. This fic does that wonderfully, managing to tell not one, but two stories in 267 words. This fic deals with the fact that Janeway effectively changed the future in Endgame, it looks at all the ways in which her life changed and the ways it stayed the same.
Also, the last paragraph never fails to crack me up.
