NCIS/Doctor Who Crossover: Hypercubes, Carpetbags and Other Four-Dimensional Spaces by Azar (Teen)

Fandom: NCIS/Doctor Who
Pairing: Abby Scuito/8th Doctor
Length: Short
Author on LJ: [personal profile] azarsuerte
Author Website: Probable Impossibilities

Why this must be read:
I have a particular soft spot for this Doctor Who/NCIS crossover as I always thought it was a shame the 8th Doctor didn’t get his series. One film of him just wasn't enough. The thought of Abby as a companion is pretty good too, she would give him a run for his money and to my mind would have fitted in very nicely in the 90s with the 8th Doc. This story sees the pair meeting for the first time and there is a sequel.

"It's a tesseract!" she finally blurted out.

That got his attention. The Doctor stopped what he was doing and pivoted on one heel to stare at Abby as though she were suddenly the most remarkable thing he'd ever seen. "So it is--very good!" he answered in a tone of surprised but pleased approval. "You know your four-dimensional geometry: most of my companions never would have thought of that."

The form on the site won't let me leave feedback-0 but I have to say- what a fantastic, funny story! A fine match, indeed!

Thanks! There's at least four more in the series coming, of varying lengths. :-)

You could've left this comment in my actual journal, y'know. Since you *do* know me. ;-)

*grin* Thanks anyway.

Eeeeeeeeeee, I always get a little excited when one of my stories gets rec'ed, so thank you so much for this! :-)

There's more coming in the series too: not just the big bang, but two drabbles and one vignette in progress. :-)
