Emphasis should be on fics that you feel are especially outstanding and accessible examples of your fandom, e.g. it plays on a repeated theme in the show, it's a fandom or a personal favourite, it was a controversial fic, it's good smut. Whatever.

Warnings are not required beyond what the author has posted on their own stories.

You misunderstood. You tapped georgiesmith for August. Mine is the next comment after hers so I was wondering if I'm next. I've rec'd for other fandoms before and I like to have a good month to prepare my recs. I have a bunch of fics identified but I haven't written the posts (and I usually reread in that process). I didn't want to start too many months in advance because in the past I've spent a lot of time writing things up only to have other reccers beat me to it.
