The Prestige (PG) by y0do

Hi there, I'm [livejournal.com profile] dogwoodblossom and this is my first time ever driving the van. I'm a bit nervous and excited because right now is a really awesome time for Sherlock fic what with the new series that aired last month. Go watch it if you haven't already! Some of my recs are pre series 2, but I'm gonna try to mix it up.

Fandom: SHERLOCK
Pairing: none
Length: one-shot
Author on LJ: Don't think he's on LJ, alas.
Author Website: http://y0do.deviantart.com/
Why this must be read:

I was actually going to rec an older comic by y0do that is one of my all time favorite pieces of fanart, but then I saw this one. This artist captures Benedict Cumberbatch like no other. The art beautiful and it may make you cry. It's also one giant SPOILER for the ending of the second series so watch The Reichenbach Fall before you click on it. Then check out y0do's other work because it's all fantastic.

Great Rec! Huge emotion in it. The art is wonderful and the poignancy is brought out so well in the magic trick framework. Love it!
