Here's a gen offering: Empathic John bonds with Sherlock. This AU premise is an intriguing urban fantasy. (I do love how this fandom has every variety of fic, from SF to historical to magical, from romance to casefic.) Some angst, sweet h/c, and platonic life partner BFFness in the mix, just wonderful. There's no sexual tension, and both men seem asexual in this. Bonus: The intimations of future Mycroft/Lestrade are fun.
