Why this must be read:

Sidekick is a seamless fusion. Everything about it is strangely believable and it just—it works. Because really, Mike Ross and Tony Stark? A match made in geek heaven.

In another universe, Harvey could've been either the world's smarmiest superhero or the most unlikely and incorrigible man ever to don a mask. In this universe, both honours belong to Tony Stark, who struts around this fic in all his flawless, trademark RDJ-style glory. The author clearly has a blast writing the Avengers, and Tony in particular; Harvey and Tony together are an explosion of sheer undilluted brilliance that the fic can hardly contain. (Lies. It totally can.)

Mike and Tony's relationship develops in parallel with Mike's involvement with superhero stuff, and both processes are handled deftly. The fic itself is quite the treat, but the (many) codas are the icing on the cake of awesomeness that is this 'verse, so make sure to read them all.

This has an actual plot! Character development! Superheroes! And Donna terrorising Nick Fury! Really, what more could you possibly want?

Oh, right: Mike gives Tony a threesome with Harvey for Christmas. There you go. You're welcome.

Pepper got a text in the middle of lunch with investors.

Non-MIT college dropout drug dealer Tony Stark's new assistant = how scandalous?

She sighed and texted back. I thought I said no hiring based on measurements.

His IQ = at min 175. Good enough measurement for you?

We'll discuss this later.

2 late. Hired him. Run bg check "Michael Ethan Ross" DOB 2.15.85, please ensure not a supervillain.

Sometimes Pepper thought she wasn't paid enough for this. (Then she remembered she was CEO, and could give herself a raise.)
