Where the last rec was pure, unadulterated smut, this one has no smut whatsoever. That's right, I'm recc'ing a gen story. But it's a really good gen story! Wonderful dialogue that really sounds like Ray and Fraser and a plot that's suspenseful and engaging. Shay does a wonderful job of showing the emotional connection between these two characters so even a dyed-in-the-wool slasher like myself was left satisfied.

I love the smut in the last rec, but this is a fabulous story! Scary as all hell, too. I remember when this was originally posted, and the link was passed around like some dirty little secret among my slashy friends -- "it's not slash, but...." *G*
