Where the last rec was pure, unadulterated smut, this one has no smut whatsoever. That's right, I'm recc'ing a gen story. But it's a really good gen story! Wonderful dialogue that really sounds like Ray and Fraser and a plot that's suspenseful and engaging. Shay does a wonderful job of showing the emotional connection between these two characters so even a dyed-in-the-wool slasher like myself was left satisfied.

Yep. And then bethbethbeth earned her shiny new toaster by luring Shay to the slash side of fandom. Not that it took much coaxing. This story proves she was three-quarters of the way there already.
