CROSSOVER: Fastidious by Graculus (PG)

Fandoms: MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E. / NCIS
Pairing: Napoleon Solo/Illya Kuryakin (if you squint)
Length: 1,003 words
Author on LJ: [livejournal.com profile] graculus
Author Website: www.btinternet.com/~graculus/mfu.html

Why this must be read:
This is quite a short one again, but it's just brilliant to read. As with almost all the NCIS/UNCLE crossovers, Illya Kuryakin has become Ducky Mallard. Although he has left behind his old life and partner, bittersweet and poignant memories come back to haunt him with the discovery of an item in his home that shouldn't be there. The narrative is excellent and tells a very moving story. Read it even if you're not a fan of crossovers - this one is lovely.

OOHH - Awesome rec! Thank you! It is very bittersweet, yet perfect.

It's as if CrackVan Crossover Day for April should be retitled NCIS Crossover day.

Not that it's a bad thing!

As you know, this is one of my all time favorite stories. So melancholy, so wonderful. I've read pretty much everything she's got MFU-related at The Grotto (http://www.btinternet.com/~graculus/mfu.html) and loved it all. Highly recommended site to visit indeed!

Oh, [livejournal.com profile] graculus is on LJ. Just so ya know.

Thanks for the rec!

great choice! Wonderful author.

Sometimes I find LJ names by seeing if the author has been recommended on [livejournal.com profile] crack_van before and looking for the lj name in that post.

I just wanted to say thanks for this rec. It really is gorgeous and so very poignant.

And I'm enjoying all your recs this month - I don't normally read Man From Uncle, so this is all your fault *hg*
