Why this must be read:
This is quite a short one again, but it's just brilliant to read. As with almost all the NCIS/UNCLE crossovers, Illya Kuryakin has become Ducky Mallard. Although he has left behind his old life and partner, bittersweet and poignant memories come back to haunt him with the discovery of an item in his home that shouldn't be there. The narrative is excellent and tells a very moving story. Read it even if you're not a fan of crossovers - this one is lovely.

I just wanted to say thanks for this rec. It really is gorgeous and so very poignant.
And I'm enjoying all your recs this month - I don't normally read Man From Uncle, so this is all your fault *hg*
