Why this must be read: Sixteen thousand words of pure crossover mansmut. Put the period's loveliest boys in one room and get them fucking, no one with their accepted OTP partner. Shake well, and enjoy.

I can't possibly pick an excerpt out of this. Richard Sharpe, Horatio and Archie, William Bush, Norrington, Edrington, Jack Sparrow, Jack Aubrey, Tom Pullings, and Stephen Maturin? Try picking an excerpt out of that. Just try. I will however tell you that Sharpe winds up with Edrington, and if you know anything about Richard Sharpe's attitude about the aristocracy and their attitude toward him, you can guess that the feathers will fly.

Shore Leave Actor's Commentary -- Just read it, you'll get the idea.

Oh, Sharpe!

Lieutenant Richard Sharpe is a British officer during the Napoleonic Wars...he's in charge of a troupe of sharp-shooters deployed in Spain. He's not a "gentleman", he made his way up through the ranks, and he always seems to have trouble with the officers who got their position through their birthright... Bernard Cornwell, who wrote the books, may live in Massachusetts, but the series of films were made in Britain for BBC TV. So, if you live in the US, unless you've caught the few they occasionally play on PBS or The History Channel, you probably haven't seen him at all. Sharpe was my introduction to actor Sean Bean (Lord of the Rings - Fellowship of the Ring, Troy - those are the most recent ones I can think of he's been in.) I think Sharpe's character is just about perfect for slash! Yum!

Here's a pic of Sharpe and his trusty Second-In-Command Harper:

This is probably more than you ever wanted to know about Sharpe, but hey, I'm a fan...sorry if I got carried away.
