Why this must be read: This story reads like an action-packed, fast paced episode. The characterization is great and the story is a lot of fun. Different sections are written from different characters pov's and the writing style changes for each character, contrasting Book's more verbose and pensive thoughts with Kaylee's bright and observant ones. This is the first story in an arc that keeps going through several more stories but I really enjoyed this first entry.

Why this must be read:
When I realized this story hadn't been rec'd in this community, I had to do it even though I've recommended the story in my LJ before. (I was trying to choose only new stories.) This Regency AU is for any Georgette Heyer fans out there. You don't need to know the bands due to the AU setting; you just need to be in the mood for period romance.

It's a perfect take on Regency love, full of classic misunderstandings leading to angst. Jae caught the tone of the genre perfectly, and she also made the reader feel this Tom and this Jon are still similar to the Tom and Jon we know at present (and the same goes for Pete and Ryan).

Why this must be read: What would happen if Napoleon Solo, suave international spy, was captured by Thrush while he was on a normal date with a co-worker? Would Thrush let her go? Take her with them? Torture her and thereby torturing Napoleon without laying a finger on him? Gorgeously written, this story follows the aftermath of such an event and the lengths that Illya will go to prevent his partner from torturing himself.

Why this must be read: In Abyss, Clark has the Fortress take Chloe's memories of all things Kryptonian, including his secret. In Legion, she gets all of her memories back, but doesn't remember what Clark had done. This story wonders what would have happened if she did remember. I absolutely love the scene in which Chloe confronts Clark with what he did, and I can only wish that the writers of the show were this good. Chloe doesn't let Clark off the hook, and she says things to him that so many of us wished had been written for her. Beyond that, something about the first four chapters (not including the prologue) just blew me away. I can't say to much or it'll ruin the impact, just don't stop reading. You won't regret it.
The rest of the story is just as wonderful, and the author does get us to a believable happy ending. The journey isn't a short one though, and there is much angst and drama along the way. Most characters from the show make an appearance at one time or another, even some that we haven't seen for a while. I hope you'll stroll on over to enjoy the ride [info]babydee1 takes you on. It starts out very bumpy, but it does start to smooth out until all bumps are eventually gone.

Why this must be read: Adam Lambert in this fic is magnificent. He's very dramatic and demands your undivided attention. He's evil, but you can't help, but love him.  auto_floss has given the flamboyantly confident artist a sense of vulnerability in this twisted fic of love and obsession, making you gravitate toward him.

Wicked

Adam Lambert had showed up where David was doing a gig, and the two ended up alone for a few moments in the dressing room. Pure shock was perhaps an excellent description of how Cook felt when Adam Lambert jammed his studded tongue down the former’s mouth without even so much as an introduction. Lambert was taller, older, and very much experienced in the seductions of boys like David, and for David whose passions ran rather freely prior to his meeting Jason Castro, Adam Lambert’s ravenous kiss was like a wake up call, evoking all the wild naughtiness back in the days of his youth.

Why this must be read:  Tabi and I are from the same fandom, 'Nsyncslash. As everyone knows 'Nsyncslash is one of the best fandoms ever. So, Tabi brings forth that strong lineage.  In this fic, she brings together my two muses in a very real setting. You can see and feel everything that is going on. Oh, and there's plenty of hot sex, too.

I Hate Flip Flops

                Jason sat cross legged on the beach.  He looked over the water and felt very calm.  Bodies of water made him at peace naturally.  It had been weeks since he had been voted off and he was due back for rehearsals.  He had done the press junket like he had been advised and had gone home for a few days.  He had been welcomed back with open arms by his town and he appreciated it.  He just was not ready to be back to normal.  He had told his family they had needed him back earlier than expected so he could leave without the guilt.  He needed time to transition.  He knew he would do the tour and then it would be over.  He would work on his own career but it would not be full speed ahead like AI was.  It had all been unnerving and overwhelming to go back home as a celebrity he wanted some time from the normal and the lime light.  He picked up a shell and threw it to the water where it skipped then sank.
