One of the most striking things is that we see the world through Godric's eyes. It's quite difficult to get across the age of such a character and yet she makes it look effortless. Just a gorgeous, lyrical, insightful little story that says so much and implies even more. Back in the suburb, Nate Fick is likely just waking up, stretching out in his bed, his hands and knees brushing his partner. He will get up, eat his breakfast, dress and go to work, where he will do the important things he does, and then he will come home, just as the sun is starting to dip. And then Godric will see him again after the sun has gone down, when he leaves the house for his run, his hands in loose fists and his eyes always looking forward. Welcome to True Blood! I wanna do bad things to you, and even if I didn’t - a large host of the characters would. True Blood is a tv show based of the book series The Southern Vampire Mysteries (also known as the Sookie Stackhouse Verse) by Charlaine Harris, but I wouldn’t compare the two too much. I would give you the IMDB summary but that’s a tad short so we’re going with mine. Why should you enjoy the show?
