They love each other completely, accepting even the darkest parts of the other. They adapt to challenges, find ways to overcome problems together. Elena is struggling with her new bloodlust, so Stefan finds a way to help her cope and ends up helping himself as well. They are passionate and loving and painfully honest. I particularly love how well the author depicts Elena struggling with her newly heightened emotions and senses. Author Website: Mirabellafic at DWWhy this must be read: This story is known around H50 fandom as the veela story, most probably because, in the story, Danny is a veela. And it's time to mate. It's your classic fuck-or-die situation, H50 style. That means a hilariously cranky Danny, Steve being more psycho than usual and Kono as the cockblocker from hell. Chin is long suffering, as always. And guess who Danny needs to mate for life with? Go on, guess! Excerpt: It's not until he's in the middle of the whole thing and looks back that Danny realizes something: when he heard the voice in Jack McGarrett's house where voices should not be because it was an active crime scene, he was already on his way to the garage. He tries to convince himself that it was just coincidence, and he really wasn't making straight for the garage in his attempt to figure out what smelled so fucking amazing in that house.
Danny's not actually very good at lying to himself. It's a problem.
His first clue that he's got trouble is when the gun-runner doesn't shoot him.
Or no, maybe it starts before that, when he wakes up that morning with that itch under his skin that feels like his temperature's up, in such a foul mood that even his Gracie better not set a foot out of line. Fortunately she's an angel, so by the time Danny drops her off at school he's in a little better a mood; but three hours later, when he's staring down the barrel of his own gun into the barrel of a gangster's, because that is how his life goes, he's wondering if it would really be so bad to pull a page out of Steve's book and throw the guy off a roof.

It’s been a while since ashedrake wrote the fandom overview for Glee. Which leaves me with a season and a half’s worth of updates for you all! Since her overview was fantastic and thorough, and there’s no way I can live up to it, I’ll just try to fill you in on the general plot, new characters, and things that have happened to the main cast as best I can. Sorry if it’s a little long, there's a lot to cover.
