10:47 am Semi-Skimmed by Allheadybooks (Teen & Up Audiences)
Fandom: LEWIS
Pairing: (as the author says) sort of Lewis/Hathaway, sort of Lewis&Hathaway, thoroughly Lewis^Hathaway
Length: 5k
Author on LJ: [livejournal.com profile] allheadybooks
Author Website: allheadybooks at the AO3

Why this must be read:
It's Sunday morning in my part of the world and this is the perfect Sunday morning fic. It's warm, funny, domestic, real. Hathaway sneaks in under Lewis's radar and it's all over for Lewis (and us). There should be a warning for goodness.

James grins. It's a small grin, grantedhe's still Hathaway, who won't even mug for the camera at the office Christmas partybut it's there. Reminds him of the case years back with Will and Zoe Kenneth, James on that hospital bed looking puny and about nine years old and smiling just because Lewis had done his job and carried him out of there, bad back or no.

02:33 pm Off the Old Block by Peripeteia (Teen)
Fandom: Star Trek (2009)
Characters: Joanna McCoy, Leonard McCoy, Jim Kirk, Pavel Chekov, and ensemble (brief Joanna/Pavel)
Length: 2736 words
Author on LJ: Peripeteia on AO3
Author Website: Here on AO3
Why this must be read: Joanna McCoy is all grown up (well 16) and causing hell for her father while visiting the Enterprise. She's rebellious because she's at that age, and works it out in different ways in her visit. The ensemble cast adds to the joy of this story and makes you really adore this spunky offspring of our favorite doctor.

10:55 pm We were once cinema gods in the night by gyzym (nc-17)
Fandom: INCEPTION
Pairing: Arthur/Eames
Length: 21k
Author on Ljhttp://gyzym.livejournal.com/
Author on AO3http://archiveofourown.org/users/gyzym/pseuds/gyzym
Why this must be read:

A Hollywood AU by the inimitable Gyzym.  The portrayal of Arthur as clever movie producer and Eames as the extremely talented actor plays true with the original characters.  As does their inability to talk or share their feelings as they warily circle each other in their strange version of flirtation.  It is telling that some of the most important revelations happen through text messages.  The podfic by Aphelant is a great and she adds a level of realism that helps make this AU more believable.  A fun read and a fun listen.
