Why this must be read: So, I'm finally reccing something of length. It also happens to be 37,000 words of pure porn. Then again, pure porn might be underselling what is actually a lovely look at not only Stiles, but everyone he has these intimate interactions with, the basic premise being that, after Boyd invites Stiles to join him and Erica for a threesome on her birthday, the rest of the pack (and Danny) finds out and decides to jump on that train before it leaves the station.

What amazes me the most about this fic isn't that it's blisteringly hot (even though it's BLISTERINGLY hot), it's that the author manages to reveal so much about each character through what they're like in bed. And they're all fantastically in character. It has one of my favorite portrayals of Isaac, in particular, as well as delightful dynamics within the couples. The sex is playful and educational and comes free of judgment or bias, there's a bisexual character enjoying the full spectrum of his sexuality, there's communication (and, between Derek and Stiles in particular it's a lovely negotiation of what they want), and above all there's friendship.

Though Derek/Stiles is presumed to be the endgame by the last chapter, this is really a story about Stiles and his sexual exploration and his relationship with the pack. It's an insightful look at casual sex and friend-sex and feelings-sex and the differences between them. And did I mention it's hot?

Why this must be read: From the show people can give a good argument for Sherlock being asexual, in fact, I have read some fic detailing this. This is not one of them. This series is the opposite. Sherlock directs all his focus to sex rather than crimesolving. For a concept that can be just porn it becomes exceedingly dark and engrossing. It is a series that I reread every so often. For my last story offering this month, I’d like to introduce you to tdancinghands. This story is different than others I have highlighted but I found it well written and a very different view of our Guys. A mixture of the Alpha Top Napoleon Solo who is assigned sub Illya Kuryakin as a partner on a mission. The Slash is expletive but enjoyable.
The writing is excellent and tdancinghands pulls the reader in and anxious for the next chapter. Not your normal Man from UNCLE story but one that you’ll not forget. Secrets are discovered and reveal by both man which could end their careers but the caring they share comes out within each line you read. Hope you enjoy this story as much as I did.

Not everyone celebrates Halloween/Samhain, but for those of us who do, the holiday is upon us!

Why this must be read: It was a dark and…monsoon-y night (because after all it is Cascade). It’s Halloween and Jim and Blair are driving home in a dreadful storm. They both agree that rainy Halloweens suck because it makes trick-or-treating miserable. This leads to the sad confession that Blair never went trick-or-treating when he was a kid.

Suddenly, Blair sees something and has Jim stop the truck to take a better look. He goes haring off in the downpour, totally upsetting Jim. Apparently with good reason, because when Jim follows him into an alley Blair has vanished.

Written for a “Spook Me” ficathon, Halloween is a time for the unexplainable to happen, and they happen a lot here. Enjoy.

He enjoys torturing and leaving his victims posed for their colleagues to find. Once he’s tipped the incompetent cops off to their whereabouts, of course. Hutch becomes one of the chosen. If you enjoy a hurt Hutch and a frantic Starsky, this story will push your buttons.
