Vidder's website: Fizz and VinegarWhy this vid kicks ass: The creator describes it as “light and fun, showcasing the humour of Due South,” which is accurate. It also does a fantastic job of conveying the camaraderie between the characters, the sense that they have seen each other at their worst and best—they’re
family. The Fraser/Kowalski duet takes center stage, but we also get little moments spotlighting Welsh, Thatcher, Huey and Dewey, Turnbull, Frannie, Elaine, and (of course) Dief. Although I’m pretty sure that Benton Fraser would object to some of the language and several of the activities described in this song, I can see him nodding along to lines like:
Me and my homies stay tight like a noose
And if you step to one of us you better step to the whole crew
I never knew that I could depend
That I could have some friends that's down to the very end
Well that's my homeboys excuse me, my family
And when we conquer the world
We mackin' on the galaxy
'cause sky's the limit and we ain't finished
And if my homies gonna ride ya know I'm with it
