lionessvalenti writes some of my favourite threesome fic, and this one struck a note that you don't see touched on a lot. Don't get me wrong, I am a fan of shiny, happy threesomes, but there is another side to it. What do you tell your co-workers when a man who isn't your husband brings you flowers at work? What do you tell your relatives, when you want to bring a "friend" with you to a family function? And what do you do, when someone puts you in a situation where your only choices are to deny who you are and who you love, let someone believe the worst about you, or defend yourself by sharing information that isn't any of their business?
I love El's emotional exploration in this, and her frank, easy discussion with Peter. It rings true to the way their marriage is portrayed on the show, and proves yet again that Elizabeth Burke is really freaking awesome.
