Why this must be read:
It's always fun to see conspiracies and heroes collide. This story sees a Wraith on Earth. Don't worry, Methos is way more badass than a mere Wraith.

04:51 pm Changes and Ever After by thedevilchicken (NC-17)
Fandom: FOOTBALL (SOCCER) RPF
Pairing: Ruud van Nistelrooy/Cristiano Ronaldo
Length: ~27000 words total
Author on LJ: [livejournal.com profile] thedevilchicken
Author Website: fic in memories
Why this must be read: these have been really badly Jossed in terms of transfers and how Cristiano Ronaldo grew up, but this is the future that I would have liked. It's a happy ending, but not improbably so or without mention of all the work that goes into making it that way.

08:09 pm The Bliss!verse Series by DameRuth (individual stories range from All Ages to Adult)
Fandom: DOCTOR WHO
Pairing: Ninth Doctor/Rose/Jack
Length: Stories vary; the entire series is about 80,000 words at this point (each story stands on its own)
Author on LJ: [livejournal.com profile] dameruth
Author Website: on Teaspoon
Why this must be read: This 'verse is very aptly named – reading the stories is pure Bliss.

The OT3 share a telepathic link that allows them to read each other's feelings, and communicate to a degree. This is not always a good thing.

Dame Ruth throws the OT3 into one difficult situation after another – from being told off by Jackie Tyler for their unusual romantic arrangement to Jack, of all people, having to control the other two when they've been infected by sex pollen. And then there's the slight problem of where they should get married... which would not be nearly so complicated if Rose didn't have those strange objections about having a goat at the ceremony...

At every point, the love between these three shines through brilliantly and unwavering, and whatever they face, they face it together. Dame Ruth once described this series as "her fluffy happy place," and I couldn't agree more. Because no matter how bad things may get, in the end every story leaves the reader with a warm, cuddly feeling of content.
