Back in the day, dancing was a metaphor for the sex that couldn't be shone on screen. We are more fortunate with this story, as we get the dancing and the sex. Lucky, lucky Astrid. This is one of my favorite stories in this fandom.

It should be harder for Nate to get into clubs given that he looks like he's twelve, but he’s found that certain clubs are more than willing to let him in because of how he looks. So when he wants to go out and have a good time, he dresses younger than he is in thin t-shirts, ratty jeans and hoodies a size too big, and he makes sure to rake his fingers through his hair so that it falls over his face.

Why this must be read:

Because it's kinky. Frankly, that's what this little gem has going for it. I read it ages ago when it was published in a zine, sitting at one of the Bash at the Loft little Sentinel cons in Maryland. It was the first story of this type I'd ever read in TS fandom. I first thought, "I don't think Jim would actually have a box of those up in his bedroom." And I thought that Jim and Blair's first time might be a little more romantic, a little less to do with tying Blair up and Jim owning sex toys. Then again, I thought as I read on, if he did have some and if they did that, it would be just like this. Geli posted this story to the 852 Prospect Archive back in February of 2001. She was fairly prolific and has a lot of interesting little stories there. She also did lovely illustrations for stories in zines back in the day. I wouldn't say this is the best characterized story I ever read, but if you want a story in which an angry Jim confesses that his anger toward Blair is because he has very dark desires towards Blair, one in which when Blair finds out about Jim wanting him he tells Jim to do what he wants with him, and even though he's never done this kind of thing before, he's quite happy and turned on by what Jim does, and one that you need to make sure the air conditioning is running when you read it, this is the story for you.

Geli's summary says "Jim reveals his desires and Blair submits his body." Warning: b/d.

I have to admit, every now and then, I've returned to this story just for its hotness, to see that Jim and that Blair behind that locked door.
