Fandom: ALIAS
Pairing: Lots - Sloane/Emily, Dixon/Diane, Jack/Katya, Lauren/Sark, Syd/Weiss

Why this must be read: The lyric style of this story sucks you in from the first line. Each section hits a different emotion and as a reader, I was struck at the poetic nature of each one. With Neruda as inspiration, no wonder.

b>Fandom: STARSKY AND HUTCH
Pairing: Starsky/Hutch

Why this must be read:

A game of spin the bottle in mixed company couldn't go wrong, could it?

"You know the rules." Starsky pulled himself up on his knees and met Hutch’s eyes challengingly; they sat opposite one another. "Strip or kiss me."

Of course it could. Faced with dropping his pants in the presence of his fellow detectives, or kissing his partner in the presence of his fellow detectives, Hutch downs his shot of tequila and puckers up. Said fellow detectives wait with bated breath to finally see the legends put the rumors to rest.

Then the damned phone rings. Kissus interruptus. Must get down to the station right away!

Starsky makes it clear that Hutch owes him one, and he aims to collect. Poor Hutch is literally backed into a corner, as Starsky kicks it up a notch:

"It’s funny, Starsk," Hutch began nervously, "I didn’t realize that copping a feel in the bathroom was one of the options."

"I think there are a lot of options you haven’t considered."

But in the stark reality of soberdom, will Hutch back out?

This is a sweet ditty that made me smile and shake my head at its simplicity. Short and sweet, yet hot and fun. My kind of tale. And its sequel is even better.

04:53 pm Sevenfold Synchronicity by Hera (NC-17)
Fandom: BLAKES7
Pairing: Incidental Tarrant/Tarrant and Vila/Vila, but mostly big-time Avon-on-Avon action
Author on LJ: ?
Author Website: ?
Why this must be read:
Yes, you read that right. You see, in 1998 the BBC sullied the memory of B7 by broadcasting a rotten radio play, "The Sevenfold Crown." The crown itself was a magical device for concentrating psychic power. Anyway in the course of a teleport malfunction (thus anticipating "wardrobe malfunction" by a number of years) Avon becomes replicated.

So what would happen if two Avons occupied the same room?

The Avons proved to be of precisely no use at all. Once they had recovered from the shock, they became immersed in a scientific discussion, which rapidly degenerated from high-minded intellectualism into analysis of the commercial possibilities.[...] Could they create a whole army of Avons?
Tarrant stopped listening before he threw up. An army of Avons? And what exactly did he intend to accomplish with that, create an 'ironic' sector of the galaxy? Grind the Federation down with snappy finger pointing and drawling?

But of course, with your slashgoggles on, the next move is inevitable:

Avon awoke in his own arms and kissed himself tenderly. The response was predictably enthusiastic, and tongues circled as legs entwined and hips began to slowly grind against each other. At last--a partner who really understood his needs.

Despite Dayna's and Soolin's efforts at maintaining a shred of crew discipline, Vila and Tarrant insist on their own duplicates. Then things apparently return to normal, just in time for a wonderfully funny and sinister ending.
