Why this must be read:

This is quite possibly one of the hottest bits of smut I have ever read. Plus it's tentacle!fic that works so, so well. Essentially Jack and Ianto get trapped in the 38th century. This fic isn't so much about that, but how they carry on with their lives, getting jobs, making friends. And one of those friends is a very friendly alien named Nir who has a bit of a thing for Ianto.

And then they all have sex. No, really. That's pretty much what happens. And it is so good.

Why this must be read:

Adrianna started writing Gibbs/Ducky last year and this is her longest story to date. It was written for ncis_bigbang 2008 and should be read as it contains a bit of everything. A case, romance, gentle love making, great team banter, first class characterisation for all the characters. They are the men and women we see on the screen week in week out with their positive and sometimes less than positive traits.

Adrianna touches all the emotions in this story at different times It had me smiling, laughing, sniffing, having a wry grin, going 'awww', etc. The case aspect of it was superb and keeps the reader guessing. It's nice and hot in places, but it's not just about sex, it's about lovemaking - which so epitomises this pair and a surprise or two that normally would have me backing away or shaking my head, but Adrianna made them work perfectly.

It is a long story, but it's well worth settling in with your beverage of choice and letting the story wrap itself around you and take you into the world of NCIS.

Hey guys, palmaceae here, reccing The Mummy movie series! Well, actually I'm only reccing fics that have to do with The Mummy and The Mummy Returns, because I still haven't seen The Scorpion King and The Mummy 3 and I don't think I ever will. But I love The Mummy and TMR. I love them so much that I did the unthinkable: I READ THROUGH THE ENTIRE MUMMY CATEGORY ON FANFICTION.NET. No one should be forced to do that. But I did - all for love. Napoleon wakes up from a dream very aroused and can't remember exactly why. As he slowly wakes up and delves into his memory, the reasons for his arousal become clear....the mission they've been on has affected Napoleon in more ways than he thought. Illya who's asleep in the next bed, has no idea what's going on in his partner's mind.

The descriptive language in this relatively short piece is excellent and forms a perfect image in your mind and leaves you drooling. Well, it did me anyway :-) There's no actual sex in it although it is slash, but there doesn't have to be - the description of the situation is just that good. What are you waiting for?

Hello, everybody! I'm bofoddity, and I'll be your anime/manga driver this month for Final Fantasy VII. Being the kind of fan for whom characters make the fandom, my tastes are very gen-heavy and that's something you can expect from my recs as well. Cloud in this story is angrier, more bitter than what's usually seen in fandom, and absolutely unique.

JJPOR gives us a wonderful story thats has a overall angsty tone with brillant humorous moments weaved in. The characterizations of all the Doctors are spot on, as well as those of some of our favorite companions. And of course, we couldn't have a doctor get together without a suprise visit or two from some not so nice people.  The Ten Doctors is a must read.

why this must be read:

this focuses on merope gaunt (and slytherin's locket, to a lesser extent). she is so perfectly written, bringing to our full attention that dark, scary element of voldemort's past. brief dialogue and introspection seamlessly weave into the main narration, and the format - sixteen parts for sixteen hours - could perhaps be superfluous with other pieces, but only enhances this. warnings - dark, vague mentions of incest.
