Some months later, in the winter, Brown is piloting his own plane back from Spokane when contact with his plane is lost... Jim is away at a conference, and Blair goes, alone, to look for Brown. This is one of several 'Blair rescues an injured man' stories that I've read, and it makes an interesting change that in this one it's Brown, who doesn't usually play more than a background role in Sentinel stories. There are other excellent vids that have been recced here, but for me this vid gives me RayK in all his glorious uncertainty, all his desire to be what someone needs him to be. As the lyrics say: I need a reminder what I'm doing here, and as RayK himself says in COTW: "You ever feel like you don't know who you are? Like if you weren't around somebody, or that someone wasn't around you, then you wouldn't be you, or at least not the you that you think. You ever think like that?" here's luck describes it thus: "this vid was all about trying to distill RayK -- the experimental hair and the kinetic energy and the fact that he NEEDS Fraser to be his mirror, because he wants to be the version of himself that Fraser reflects back to him." Why this must be read: Why? Because there are few things hotter in this world than a possessive John Sheppard. It starts with an off-world mission gone wrong - the inhabitants wanted to keep Rodney and John wasn't about to let that happen. All it took was a hand that wasn't John's encircling Rodney's wrist proprietorially for all hell to break loose. Emotions are still running high when they return to Atlantis and a flustered Rodney confronts the Colonel. And commence with the hot sex. Phew! Many apologies, Cousins, there was a communications blackout this week as I was running from a whole boatload of flocking THRUSH. I've shaken the tail and have reached the safety of the UNCLE garage with only a small squealing of tires. At least I hope this is the UNCLE secure garage. I get lost a lot and the security gate clanged down after me... here comes a guard. He isn't looking too happy and he's caressing that sidearm a little too fondly.
